Thomas A Green
Principal Engineer, ASCE Consultants. EE, PE.
ASCE's Principal Engineer Thomas Green began his career as a senior scientist at
Leeds & Northrup in power systems engineering. He went from there to become
Director of Marketing for Power Systems at Rockwell International. In these
roles, he worked with power systems around the world. He then worked in similar
customer-facing positions with Systems Control and Westin Engineering before
founding ASCE Consultants in 1987. With 25+ professional papers and 35 years implementing Automation Platforms and analyzing workflow
and SCADA systems at Utilities around the world, Thomas Green knows well the barriers to making a workplace work well. He has
several patents, including those for coal generation efficiency and Automatic
Generation Control. This business experience, combined with experience at
Utilities both in the US and abroad, gives Thomas a tremendous ability to advise on
a wide variety of projects at the modern utility. Thomas has presented the
Distributech keynote, served on the Distributech advisory board for over 5 years,
and has presented at many other conferences.

Gregory Green
Principal Associate, ASCE Consultants.

Greg began programming at 13 and moved on to graphics, typesetting and video.
His first work in the software industry was in Seattle with Adobe's After
Effects group, followed by work at Microsoft, Attachmate and SCADA Vendor ESCA
(later Areva T&D, now part of Schneider Electric). Greg then built and
managed a lab at speech recognition startup Nuance Communications in Palo Alto.
Since 2001 Greg has consulted to the utility industry with ASCE, working with
municipal utilities on software projects related to operational data, Outage
analysis, and Power Trading. Greg has presented at the User Group meetings of
Telvent (now part of Schneider Electric). In the early 90's Greg was the
international editor of a daily newspaper in Mexico City, and later worked out
of Paris for 3 years. He works periodically with the World Economic Forum, an
organization based in Geneva which provides a platform for Economic Summits
around the world.

Charles Beller

In 2010
Charles Beller completed 27 years at Burbank Water and Power. He now works with ASCE offering services related to SCADA, AutoCAD and RTU engineering.
His focus is California Municipal Utilities and SCPPA.

Dr Robin Podmore
Advisor, ASCE Consultants. EE, Phd.
Founder, Incremental Systems
Dr. Podmore has over 35 years of managerial and
technical experience in the development and implementation of power industry
computer applications. He spent five years as Manager of Power Systems Research
with Systems Control, then founded ESCA
Corporation, which later became Areva T&D and is now a part of Schneider
Electric. In 1990 Robin founded Incremental Systems with a focus on Power
Simulator use and training. Dr. Podmore is a recognized technical expert in
development of open architectures, standards and infrastructure products for
integrating multi-vendor utility applications and systems. Dr. Podmore has
performed the overall system design, developed proposals and supervised projects
for enhancing more than forty electric SCADA systems. |

Linda Finley

Linda served as
Director of Engineering at Snohomish PUD, a large distribution utility near Seattle; Chairperson of the IEEE Demand Side Management Subcommittee, and Technical Advisor for DA/DSM. Formerly of Houston Lighting and Power.

Chris Meadowcroft
Software Team Lead, Siemens.
EE.
After leading Philips to their first Ultrasound release in 10 years, Chris now works
for Siemens on next generation Ultrasound technology. Chris leads software development teams to get things done. Chris is a master of the old and the new. His early work with the IBM AS/400 was followed by mastery
of many protocols and communications methods, and work at Microsoft on .Net technology.
Chris has worked for Microsoft, IBM, Philips, Siemens, Attachmate, others, and has
participated in several start-ups. The space shuttle flies on 500,000 lines of code,
Chris manages a codebase of 10 million. |

Kevin Hydes
CEO,
Integral Group.
Kevin is the former chairman of both the United States Green Building Council
(USGBC) and the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC); as well as Founder of
the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC). Kevin leads the Integral Group's deep
green engineering initiative and is a long-time leader in the field of
sustainability in North America and abroad. |

works with industries as varied as composites and advanced materials, aerospace, defense, logistics, industrial manufacturing, and consumer products.
Mark spent 10 years with McGladrey Capital Markets (MCM), a leading investment
banking firm serving the middle market. Prior to MCM he was vice president with San Francisco-based merchant bank, the ARCH Group
and worked as a mergers and acquisitions principal with Boston investment bank Mirus Capital Advisors (formerly Ross Crossland Weston).
He graduated from Boston University with a master's degree in business administration with honors in finance.
Mark holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses. |

Michael has been developing applications on the
Microsoft platform since Windows 3.1. He currently works as a Solution Developer
where he creates highly complex mobile and Web applications. He is an active blogger covering a wide range of
topics including the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0, SQL Server, AJAX and
JavaScript, ASP.NET,
and C#.
Michael was awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable
Professional (MVP) award for ASP.NET Development four times and has
been a Microsoft Certified Professional, holding Microsoft certifications
including MCAP. Michael is the author of the first AJAX library for
ASP.NET: Ajax.NET
Professional.
In January 2010 Michael was awarded the Microsoft MVP for .Net Micro Framework.
